IT Senior Project Manager
About the role
The Enterprise Technology (ET) Office of the Chief Operating Officer provides project and program management, delivery assurance, and consulting for key programs and projects. The Senior Project Manager completes work with minimal guidance and direction, managing projects of medium to high complexity.
Responsibilities
- Managing end to end project delivery, including estimating, resource demand management, determining project deliverables and timelines, developing a project plan and managing to the plan.
- Cooking meetings, preparing meeting minutes and status reports.
- Coordinating and leading meetings.
- Working with team members to resolve issues.
- Coordinating activities of a project team which may include individuals from multiple teams, departments and locations.
- Managing and delivering assigned projects to agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards.
- Mentoring team members.
- Supporting Project Management methodologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of related work experience.
- Advanced experience using MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Solid understanding of Project Management methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills (planning, prioritizing).
- Communication skills (written, verbal, listening).
- General understanding of the insurance and financial services industry.
- PREFERRED: PRINCE2, PMI (PMP), Agile project management certification.
Qualifications
- Advanced education in a relevant field.
- Experience with Structured Project Portfolio Tools.
- Knowledge of insurance and financial services industry.

Benefits
Compensation: The Salary for this position generally ranges between $77,600 - $128,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law. Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
