This role may go direct after the 6 month contract term.Requirements:Minimum of 5 years compliance experience. Automotive experience desirable.Bachelor's degree required (Computer Science or similar)Position Overview:We are currently seeking an IT Security Manager for the IT department located in Novi, MI, reporting directly to the IT Assistant General Manager. This individual will be responsible for improving and maturing the IT process for regulatory and general controls and support efforts to ensure our client's IT is always compliant.Key Responsibilities:Review cybersecurity and risk standards, evaluate compliance gaps and implement required security remediation.Prepare monthly KPI reports and present them to management team.Provide appropriate information share and updates with senior management and other key stakeholders.Provide root cause analysis and conclusion on cybersecurity and risk issues.Be responsible and proactive with new controls and lead projects related to compliance or governance activities.Guide application teams on best practices throughout all development and testing phases.Develop, coordinate, and deliver training to end-user community.Work with members of technology solution center, infrastructure, and internal audit teams to implement, maintain and troubleshoot.Monitor and review changes and documentation updates for accuracy, currency, and compliance with policies and procedures.Assist in managing control automation and process improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with change control procedures and policies; evaluate and participate in meeting requirements for re-validation.Participate in the change management process, ensuring that all releases are compliant with IT general controls and enterprise standards.Responsible for vulnerability scans reports, coordinating and monitoring progress with IT infrastructure in patch management.Work with IT team to build and maintain regulatory compliance evidence and reporting required by Internal Audit and external auditors.Work with internal and external auditing teams to deliver required regulatory compliance evidence, reporting, and answer questions needed to complete audits promptly.Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures on a predetermined schedule.Assist with IT and cybersecurity budget development and tracking.Mentor junior members of the team and assist with skill development.
