About the role
The IT Security Associate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the security infrastructure of the organization. This includes monitoring systems for vulnerabilities, implementing security policies, and responding to security incidents.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security logs to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect company assets.
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with other teams to ensure a swift and effective response.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies, and recommend improvements to the security framework.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT Security, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications
- CISSP certification preferred.
- Experience with cloud security solutions.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards relevant to the industry.
Skills
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with network architecture and protocols.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
