IT Project Manager / Scrum Master - Hybrid

Genesis10 is seeking an IT Project Manager / Scrum Master for a 6+ month hybrid contract role with a regional health insurance provider in Eagan, MN. Compensation ranges from $65.00 to $70.00 per hour (W2), based on qualifications.

About the Role

This role leads technology initiatives from planning through delivery while incorporating Agile/Scrum practices to support effective team execution. Ideal candidates have a strong project management background and can facilitate Agile ceremonies to maintain delivery momentum.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology projects from initiation through implementation and delivery
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables
• Coordinate across business, technology, vendor, and stakeholder teams
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
• Track project and sprint progress and communicate status to leadership and stakeholders
• Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and roadblocks
• Partner with Product Owners and technical teams to establish priorities and maintain alignment
• Support resource planning and coordination across multiple workstreams
• Drive accountability and ensure projects remain on schedule and aligned with business objectives
• Apply Agile practices pragmatically based on the needs of the project and team

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT project management, Scrum Master, or related delivery experience
• Strong project planning, organization, stakeholder management, and communication skills
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum technology environments
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and cross-functional teams

Desired Skills

• Healthcare experience preferred
• Scrum/Agile certification (e.g., CSM, PSM, SAFe, or LeSS) preferred but not required
