About the role
The IT Project Manager is responsible for delivering key technical business initiatives and leading project teams to ensure alignment with project goals and scopes. This role reports to the Senior Manager within the IT Program Management Office, based in Brea, CA, with remote work flexibility to cover global projects. You will lead dynamic project assignments from initial assessment through completion, coordinating diverse disciplines to drive success.
Responsibilities
- Craft comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and negotiate with functional managers to secure resources and build high-performing teams.
- Prioritize tasks to ensure productivity, quality, and customer service goals are consistently met.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure alignment.
- Monitor and track project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders on milestones and achievements.
- Innovatively address and remove obstacles to enhance team productivity and ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7–10 years of IT project management experience in relevant industries, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, PPM Pro).
- Strong ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks with a proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to assemble, manage, and motivate diverse project teams.
- 20% travel required to project sites and Brea, CA.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include PMP and Scrum certification.

Pay
The annual salary range for this role is USD $120,000–$160,000, with eligibility for bonus/incentive pay. Compensation is determined based on experience and role requirements.
