IT Project Manager - Outage

About the role

This role provides subject matter expertise supporting the CGI Outage Management System (OMS) application at the client's OpenGrid Network (formerly known as PragmaUP/PragmaLINE).

Responsibilities

• Aid with system logic, processes, and data, especially related to OMS-related projects, customer communications, and operational activities.
• Contribute to the upcoming database and operating system (OS) server upgrades, including tasks like OMS configuration, testing, and other hands-on support.
• Collaborate with the IT team to maintain, improve, and implement communications, hardware, and software infrastructure.
• Support data requests from SQL databases specific to electrical utility events.
• Design, administer, and monitor grid application software configurations.
• Create and execute shell scripts and/or Python code.
• Write and review documentation to describe configuration processes, logic, and test plans.

Requirements

• Maintenance experience with back-office support of the CGI Outage Management System application at an Electrical Utility or similar.
• OpenGrid Network (formerly known as PragmaUP/PragmaLINE), SQL database, Python, Windows Server maintenance and operational support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.

Skills

• SQL and Python scripting.
