Job Summary Our client, a leading utility provider, is seeking an IT Project Manager IV to join their team. This position will lead multiple complex IT and software development projects, with an emphasis on consumer privacy and cookie compliance initiatives. Core ResponsibilitiesLead multiple concurrent IT projects ranging in value from $100,000 to $10 million, managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, and performance objectivesGather, define, and document project requirements, roles, responsibilities, staffing needs, and stakeholder expectationsDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, forecasts, RAID logs, status reports, metrics, and project documentationMonitor project milestones, dependencies, costs, risks, issues, and changes, implementing corrective actions as necessaryLead project kickoffs and provide direction to cross-functional project teams, analysts, schedulers, vendors, and external partnersBuild productive relationships with project sponsors, business stakeholders, vendors, and key clients while communicating project status to leadershipCoordinate contract work, professional services, materials logistics, project closure, and documentation required for audits Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience8+ of experience managing complex IT product or software development projectsActive Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management InstituteExperience managing consumer privacy and/or cookie compliance projectsDemonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, resources, risks, vendors, and cross-functional teamsExperience with IT professional services agreements, contract coordination, and materials logisticsStrong understanding of project management methodologies, IT strategies, workforce planning, and resource management Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)Experience leading highly complex projects within a formal Project Management Office environmentExperience managing privacy initiatives involving CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, consent management, or cookie governanceExperience with HP Project and Portfolio Management CenterAdvanced degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related disciplineAdditional project management certification from an accredited programExperience serving as a technical coach, trainer, mentor, or lead for other project management professionalsAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and related project management tools Key Competencies & BehaviorsExcellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and executive stakeholder-management skillsStrong Executive Communication SkillsStrategic Stakeholder ManagementFinancial Acumen and Risk AwarenessIndependent Decision-Making AbilityHighly Organized and Detail-Oriented Work EnvironmentLocation: Oakland, CaliforniaWork model: HybridSchedule: One day onsite per week minimum; additional onsite attendance may be required.
