Job Summary
We are seeking an adaptable and structured IT Project Manager to lead and execute key IT initiatives within our global technology organization. This is a remote role, but it requires residency in Texas to support occasional travel to our Innovation Center in Austin.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Lead project execution, ensuring strict adherence to project plans, timelines, and financial budgets.
- Manage and lead cross-functional project teams, providing direction, support, and motivation.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand project requirements, maintain consistent communication, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify potential project risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and financial/status reports for senior management.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT project management with a proven track record of managing software or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems integration, and software development lifecycles.
- Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills.
- Must reside in Texas and be willing to travel up to 10% to the Austin site.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification.
- Experience working in a global or matrixed corporate environment.
- High level of proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, or GitHub.
