Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and guide technical development teams, infusing Program Management best practices into Sponsor programs to ensure successful delivery.
- Translate ambiguous operational needs into concrete technical requirements, coordinating between development teams and field stakeholders to deploy technology seamlessly.
- Monitor and report on program progress, actively managing technical risks, system dependencies, and operational issues.
- Develop project briefing materials and talking points to communicate program status and technical solutions to a community-wide client base.
- Chair technical meetings with vendors, communicating mission requirements and providing practical technical advice and direction.
- Provide dedicated technical support and training to a broad client base, translating complex concepts for both technical and non-technical users.
- Prioritize alignment of systems integration with broader Sponsor objectives through partnerships with diverse operational teams and engineering cohorts.
Required Skills
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
- 5+ years of IT Program Management experience with a proven track record of overseeing software or systems development teams.
- Deep familiarity with systems engineering and integration best practices, ensuring scalable and stable operational deployments.
- Demonstrated experience supporting live IT operations and successfully transitioning prototype technologies into production environments.
- Proven ability to maintain a strong awareness of emerging technical trends and evaluate their utility for mission requirements.
Desired Skills
- Hands-on experience or functional familiarity with mobile communications infrastructure and secure tactical technologies.
- Experience presenting strategic technology roadmaps and program metrics to senior leadership and broad government user groups.
- Prior experience evaluating third-party vendor solutions against rigorous government technical architectures.
