Responsibilities
- Perform daily Program Management throughout the program lifecycle
- Directs large-scale, complex projects and programs that may involve multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Defines program scope, goals, and deliverables, in collaboration with the business and sponsor, that support business goals in partnership with senior management and stakeholders
- Defines, creates, and executes the program plan and has a good understanding of the wider objectives of the program
- Understands the relationships between activities, projects, and entire program without getting swapped by details
- Manages the main program documentation such as the program kick-off deck, initiation document (Program Charter), program plan, program RAID log and other program level documents
- Evaluates trade-offs between projects within the program with consideration to include the size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value
- Responsible for the scope, timeline, and budget objectives of the program
- Works very closely with project managers throughout the program life-cycles and coordinates the projects under the program and their interdependencies
- Provides frequent program monitoring and enforcement of schedules, milestones, and vendor accountability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; BS/BA in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or business-related discipline
- 3-5 years of Program management experience
- Strong practical experience in project management, which was gained through managing large-scale complex projects OR equivalent experience
- Experience with budgeting and resource allocation procedures
- Strong knowledge and handling of project and program management methodologies and techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
- Ability to travel approximately 25%
- Ability to work independently, with limited required direction and guidance.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
- Experience with one or more Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) software tools (preferred)
- Project management certification (PMP, CMP or related) (preferred)
