IT Product Manager

About the role
The Product Manager will partner closely with assigned product and business team members to define solutions that align with customer needs and business objectives. This position will work with business stakeholders, development teams, design, and other cross-functional teams to facilitate their product area roadmap and drive product development. The product manager will drive business requirement gathering, understand the problem space, define user stories, acceptance criteria, and verify that development work meets stakeholders’ requirements. This role supports projects of low to medium complexity and ensures business, user, and technology needs are met through continuous analysis, iteration, solutioning, and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the voice of the customer for stakeholders to ensure their needs are heard and delivery teams receive necessary support.
- Translate user and business needs into high-level requirements for low to medium complexity work using a structured process for gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing change.
- Assist in defining acceptance criteria for product features and ensure they are understood by the delivery team.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success; monitor performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Maintain detailed documentation such as gap analyses, business process flow charts, decision tables, features, and business requirements.
- Provide input during the implementation phase, compose standard operating procedures (SOPs), and participate in design reviews.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineering (QE) to ensure products meet high standards of quality, performance, and reliability.
- Monitor product performance post-implementation and provide continuous improvement recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support teams for successful product development and launch.
- Facilitate communication and alignment across departments to achieve product goals.
- Actively participate in squad ceremonies, review work, provide feedback, and accept work as applicable.
- Assist in managing the product backlog by grooming and prioritizing work in line with product strategy and OKRs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and business partners to drive satisfaction.
- Operate in a cross-cultural and complex matrixed environment to build consensus across functions.
- Communicate product updates and releases to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field; or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of relevant experience.
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Proficiency with workforce management and business applications such as Calabrio, Concur, or XTRAC.

Pay
The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
