IT Procurement Specialist

About the role

CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist to support high-impact sourcing initiatives across IT and professional services. This role will lead supplier negotiations, SOW development, and global sourcing efforts while partnering with key stakeholders to drive competitive and effective sourcing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing initiatives for IT labor, professional services, software, and technology services.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Partner with stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate suppliers, and execute sourcing strategies.
• Support global and offshore supplier relationships across the U.S., India, Mexico, and Canada.
• Manage multiple sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations simultaneously.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience sourcing and negotiating IT and professional services, including SOWs and supplier agreements.
• Strong experience with supplier negotiations and stakeholder relationship management.
• Experience supporting IT labor, technology services, and/or software sourcing.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Skills

Core Tools & Systems

• Ariba or similar sourcing/procurement platforms
• Contract and supplier management systems
• Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on Ariba experience preferred.
• Archer experience is a plus.
• Experience working with large global technology or consulting providers
• Offshore or international sourcing experience.
• Financial services sourcing experience is a plus.

Pay

$45-$55/hr. BOE
