IT Procurement Manager

About the role

We are seeking an IT Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing efforts across IT spend portfolios and drive measurable value through disciplined category management. This position plays a key role in supplier strategy, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and cross-functional alignment to support business goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies and portfolio roadmaps for IT spend categories, including demand shaping and market analysis.
• Manage supplier relationships through selection, negotiation, vendor management rituals, QBRs, and joint improvement initiatives.
• Lead cost analysis, TCO and should-cost modeling, benchmarking, and year-over-year savings and value realization efforts.
• Support end-to-end RFx events, negotiations, contracting, governance, compliance, and performance tracking across the portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• 7–10+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or category management with portfolio responsibility across indirect and/or direct materials.
• Demonstrated expertise in RFx management, complex contract negotiation, TCO analysis, and supplier performance management.
• Proficiency with eSourcing, contract lifecycle, and P2P platforms, along with strong Excel and analytics skills and financial acumen.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and change leadership skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
• Risk management mindset with experience implementing mitigation strategies across a supply base; experience supporting IT categories is a plus, and professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, CSCP, or PMP are a plus.
