IT Pharmacist I
About the Role
Participates in the build, implementation, integration and maintenance of automation and technology to assure safe and appropriate use of medications. Monitors medication treatment and improves medical outcomes, improving patient safety, minimizing adverse effects and helping control costs. Coordinates input from pharmacy (and other disciplines as needed) into system design and coordinates necessary decisions related to system operations in the pharmacy department.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy) required
- NYS Pharmacist license required upon hire
- 2 years of experience as a Pharmacist or 1 year Pharmacy Residency required
- 1 year experience in Healthcare IT preferred
Schedule
- Full-time, bi-weekly hours: 75.00
- Standard work hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Weekend/holiday requirement: Yes
- On-call required: Yes, with rotation
- Work arrangement: Hybrid
Pay
Salary range: $125,769.93 – $172,933.70 (determined based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and applicable collective bargaining agreement). Pay frequency: Bi-weekly.
