IT Operations Engineer

Overview:The IT Operations Engineer will be responsible for supporting Xurrent’s internal IT experience, including seamless user onboarding, rapid and effective resolution of technology-related issues, and the implementation and configuration of tools that enable overall business success.This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to operate independently, and clear, proactive stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of challenges, and is passionate about delivering a best-in-class IT experience.This is a hybrid role, requiring onsite presence three days per week at our Austin office.Responsibilities:End-User Support & OnboardingProvide high-quality IT onboarding experience for all new staff members to ensure maintenance of company compliance and security standardsProvide knowledgeable and friendly IT support for all Xurrent staff members including troubleshooting hardware and software issuesSystems & Tool AdministrationPurchase, track, and manage Xurrent owned and issued hardware and accessories for all staff membersAct as the primary administrator for all centrally managed company software. Maintain process for system administration, adoption, decommissioningSupport and configure automated deployment and maintenance of Apple MacbooksInfrastructure & SecurityMaintain and secure Google Workspace, monitor usage and health of global technology infrastructureOwn internal system documentation and the user training materialsAct as the technical subject matter expert when implementing IT projectsPartner with Compliance and Security Management on security requirementsConduct system security analyses and risk assessmentsMinimum Qualifications:3-5 Years of experience as an IT professionalExpertise with OktaExperience in end user Apple computing device deployment, configuration, and troubleshootingExperience as the primary administrator of a Google Workspace environmentProficient in administration and troubleshooting of Iru / Kandji MDM software (or comparable)Prior experience in a support function for a global company with a hybrid working arrangementDemonstrated experience operating change management and access control processesStrong understanding of networking technology administrationPreferred Qualifications:Direct experience supporting SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance programsDirect experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, and Azure)Compensation: Base salary of $80,000–$95,000, with an additional $9,000 performance-based bonus Important Notice: Beware of Recruitment ScamsWe have been made aware of fraudulent job offers being circulated under Xurrent’s name.
