IT Operations Analyst, Jr.

Full Spectrum Operations, a joint venture between By Light Professional IT Services and American Communications Solutions, is hiring talented IT professionals for the Eastern Western Operational Communications Services (EWOCS) contract at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. The Eastern and Western Ranges provide capabilities for customers to safely launch, track, and recover spacelift systems, as well as perform operational test missions in support of ballistic missile deployment and aircraft flight tests. EWOCS delivers communication systems maintenance, operations, and support services for voice, video, data, and infrastructure, ensuring robust communications for a wide range of customers in a dynamic launch environment.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair equipment; instruct customers in equipment operation; provide technical assistance; check equipment for malfunctions.
• Perform maintenance and technical support on equipment, integrated systems, subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
• Analyze and evaluate products and related performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to resolve problems in minimum time.
• Install, upgrade, and remove products, ensuring coordinated engineering field changes.
• Assemble, install, and configure systems and equipment in accordance with site assessments and schematics.
• Complete system programming and optimization as part of the installation process.
• Perform routine system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations and adding, removing, and replacing equipment components.
• Provide on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance, and limited troubleshooting.
• Maintain effective customer communications and relations.
• Travel frequently to customer sites and perform field technician service duties as assigned.
• Work on semi-routine assignments, recognizing the need for occasional deviation from accepted practices; assist and train less experienced personnel.
• Work is checked since errors may cause delay or expense.

Requirements

• High School diploma plus advanced training.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance (required).
