About the role

We are excited to welcome a hands-on, people-centric IT Network Manager to our Pittsburgh headquarters. In this role, you’ll lead a talented team while staying deeply involved in the engineering work that keeps our enterprise networks secure, scalable, and high-performing. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in both leadership and technical execution—and wants to make a meaningful impact on a growing global organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing network/IT team—providing coaching, guidance, and growth opportunities while driving a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Stay hands-on with daily operations, including the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and core infrastructure.
  • Design and evolve our enterprise network architecture, ensuring our LAN/WAN and cloud environments are secure, resilient, and ready for the business needs of today and tomorrow.
  • Own complex troubleshooting and escalations, quickly diagnosing and resolving issues to protect uptime and performance.
  • Drive major network and IT projects, managing scope, budgets, timelines, and communication across the organization.
  • Strengthen our security posture by developing and enforcing policies around firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access control.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors and internal partners, helping shape requirements, negotiate SLAs, and ensure successful delivery of solutions.
  • Maintain clear, accessible documentation for architectures, configurations, processes, and disaster recovery plans—supporting reliability, governance, and continuity.

Requirements

  • Deep, hands-on experience with enterprise LAN/WAN environments, routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and wireless systems.
  • Proficiency with enterprise-grade routers, switches, firewalls, WLAN controllers, and cloud networking concepts.
  • Solid understanding of network security practices—including VPNs, IDS/IPS, threat detection, and secure architecture principles.
  • Experience deploying and managing enterprise wireless networks.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking in AWS (VPC, Direct Connect) or Azure (VNet, ExpressRoute).
  • Knowledge of network monitoring, automation, and performance tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially in high-pressure or time-sensitive environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical topics for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with ITIL practices and disciplined approaches to change, incident, and problem management.
  • Leadership strengths—mentorship, delegation, performance management, and team motivation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field OR equivalent practical experience with strong demonstration of capability.
  • CCNA, CCNP, Network+, or similar industry certifications (highly preferred).
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in networking roles (highly preferred).
  • 3+ years directly managing or leading an engineering team (highly preferred).
  • Proven success delivering large-scale infrastructure projects (highly preferred).

This is an on-site position located at our Pittsburgh headquarters. No relocation or visa sponsorship is offered. Must be a US Person and comply with the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
