IT / Network Deployment Technician
About the role
The End User Support / Deployment Technician will support customers in Cisco ISE and SDA campus modernization initiatives across hospitals in the region. The role involves assisting with network migration efforts by moving endpoints from legacy infrastructure to newly deployed switches and wireless networks. Technicians will work directly with hospital employees and clinical staff to identify, validate, and migrate devices while minimizing impact to patient care operations.
Responsibilities
- Migrate endpoints from legacy networks to new network switches and infrastructure.
- Assist with device re-IP activities and network connectivity validation.
- Update network settings on endpoints receiving new IP addresses.
- Configure and validate network connectivity for printers, workstations, laptops, and clinical devices.
- Support switch migration and endpoint cutover activities.
- Push Group Policy updates to endpoints.
- Image and re-image devices using SCCM.
- Validate printer configurations and test printing functionality.
- Inventory, stage, rack, and deploy equipment as required.
- Locate, identify, and upgrade network-connected devices throughout hospital facilities.
- Troubleshoot endpoint connectivity issues.
- Partner with desktop support teams and networking teams to resolve technical issues.
- Provide hands-on support for network, hardware, and software problems.
- Validate successful migration and network functionality after changes.
- Work directly with hospital employees, clinicians, and department staff.
- Communicate clearly regarding scheduled work and device downtime.
- Pause work when patient care activities require priority attention and return when appropriate.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while working in patient-care environments.
- Travel between assigned hospital locations throughout Colorado and Kansas.
- Participate in modernization activities led by Wireless and Infrastructure teams.
- Complete assigned migration tasks across multiple facilities.
- Maintain flexibility to support priority activities at different sites throughout project deployment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills.
- Show technical troubleshooting ability.
- Be flexible to travel between hospital locations.
- Have experience with desktop, Active Directory, imaging, deployment, hardware, Windows, customer service, endpoint migration support, SCCM, troubleshooting, and project support.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Ulysses, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
