IT Manufacturing Systems Engineer - Onsite

About the role

This role supports and enhances manufacturing IT systems (MES, SAP, integrations) to ensure reliable operations, system availability, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot MES, SAP, and integration systems (e.g., Kepware)
• Ensure high availability and performance of manufacturing IT systems
• Lead/support implementation and rollout of new IT solutions
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams (IAI) for site IT/network alignment
• Partner with site teams on projects and cross-functional initiatives
• Enforce cybersecurity standards and reduce system risk
• Provide technical guidance to stakeholders

Requirements

• Experience with manufacturing IT systems (MES, SAP, or similar)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of system integrations and IT infrastructure basics
• Nice to have: Kepware or similar tools, exposure to shop floor/OT systems, Pharma or regulated environment experience

Compensation

$70,000 to $100,000 + COLA

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
