IT Management Analyst SME
Requirements
Maximus is seeking an experienced, results-oriented IT analyst to join our team in the Bethesda, Maryland area to make a meaningful impact in support of our national security client. This position plays a critical role in documenting and shaping our client's IT needs, ensuring alignment with the client’s vision. Successful performance will influence development of solutions that impact strategic project/program goals and business results.
- Conduct analysis of transition planning, intelligence information requirements, and develop architecture baselines.
- Provide research and assistance with implementation of community policies and guidance.
- Support business process improvements or systems analysis for missions, systems, and fiscal requirements.
- Recommend and develop new technical solutions, products, and/or standards in support of function strategy and operations.
- Lead and manage works of other technical staff that has significant impact on project results/outputs.
- Resolve highly complex problems using significant applications of technical knowledge, conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation.
- Develop solutions that are highly innovative and achieved through research and integration of best practices.
Qualifications
This position requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. Required qualifications include:
- A BS degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience, or an MS with 10+ years of prior relevant experience.
- In-depth understanding of technical principles, theories, concepts and their application across range of programs.
- Portfolio Management Experience - Monitor and analyze IT portfolio of programs and their associated capabilities and services.
- Strategic Planning Experience – support the evolution of the Sponsor’s strategic direction and priorities.
- Extensive experience in collaboration across multiple entities.
- Familiarity with portfolio, program, and project management discipline.
- Familiarity with planning, programming, Budgeting, and execution discipline.
- Knowledge of key performance indicators.
- Strong organizational skills and experience with process driven work.
- Strong analytical competence, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with DNI structure and IC workings.
- Ability to track upcoming deliverables and ensure team assignments are adequate to ensure all work is delivered on time.
- Ability to ensure the customer is kept on track and aware of all upcoming deadlines.
- Proactive preparation of talking points and summaries to ensure the customers are well prepared for upcoming events.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Pay
Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, and paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
