IT Litigation Support with Security Clearance

About the role

Contact Government Services (CGS) is seeking a Litigation Support Technician to join the United States Attorney's Office. This position involves providing technical and analytical support for litigation matters.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates litigation support services (trial preparation and presentation)
  • Installs, configures, and maintains litigation support equipment
  • Develops standards and procedures for applications
  • Coordinates efforts with other agencies involved in litigation team activities
  • Performs testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, and maintenance of litigation support resources
  • Maintains and controls the district's litigation support equipment inventory
  • Ensures systems availability, functionality, integrity, and efficiency
  • Resolves hardware/software interface and interoperability problems
  • Performs systems security tasks including confidentiality, integrity, and availability
  • Implements policies and procedures to ensure litigation support systems reliability and accessibility
  • Prevents and defends against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data
  • Promotes awareness of security issues among management and employees
  • Implements programs to ensure users are aware of, understand, and adhere to systems security policies and procedures
  • Provides customer support services including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and training
  • Diagnoses and resolves problems in response to customer-reported incidents
  • Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains customer hardware and software
  • Provides customer training including orientation for new users

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Bachelor's Degree (in related field)
  • Successful completion of a stringent Background Investigation and obtaining the required Government Security clearance
  • Experience with Litigation Support principles, methods, and practices
  • Experience with Litigation Support systems development concepts
  • Performance monitoring principles and methods
  • Quality assurance principles
  • Familiarity with Technical documentation methods and procedures
  • Familiarity with Systems security methods and procedures
  • Experience with Litigation support databases working with load files such as IPRO Eclipse and Relativity
  • Experience with Discovery processing hardware and software such as Law Pre-Discovery and Nuix systems
  • Familiarity with Quality control of incoming data to comply with District Electronically Stored Information (ESI) Specifications
