About the role
Maintain extensive agency-wide & statewide inventory such as laptops, desktops &/or peripheral equipment & develop, implement & enforce policies & procedures on inventory control.
Responsibilities
- Assign & tag equipment for technician retrieval; Prepare equipment for deployment by generating asset tags, updating tracking systems & staging items for technician use.
- Unbox & set up devices (e.g., laptops, desktops & peripheral equipment) for imaging; Perform setup steps such as connecting power, verifying components & staging devices for standard configuration loading.
- Respond to technician & employee requests for accessories (e.g., power adapters, docking stations, keyboards, mice, cables, etc.); Ensure accurate fulfillment & maintain records of distributed items.
Qualifications
Option 1: 9 months exp. as Inventory Control Specialist, 64551.
Option 2: 18 months trg. or 18 months exp. in inventory control AND 3 courses or 9 months exp. in electronic data processing related to inventory control AND 1 course or 3 months exp. in public relations.
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
