IT Infrastructure Specialist

About the role

The IT Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for configuring, managing, and maintaining Cisco equipment, including routers, switches, and access points. They will also support end users through ticketing systems, perform technical maintenance, and assist with cabling activities conducted by external vendors. Additionally, they will provide out-of-office/on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Cisco equipment for LAN, WLAN, and WAN environments
• Support end users through ticketing systems
• Perform technical maintenance tasks
• Aid in cabling activities performed by external vendors
• Provide out-of-office/on-call support

Requirements

• Experience configuring Cisco switches, routers, and access points
• Previous experience as part of a network support team
• Cisco training participation
• CCNA/CCNP certificate preferred
• Experience implementing Cisco network components in a project setting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure support

Skills

• Experienced CISCO professional (Cisco equipment configuration, enabling Ports, managing IP addresses, Solve network related issues)
