About the role
The Role Plan, design, and build stable, recoverable, and integrated database systems. Support IRIS databases on Linux, both on-premise and in the cloud. Install, support, troubleshoot, and upgrade Epic systems like Health Connect, Claims Connect, and Membership Connect. Collaborate with engineering teams and act as a 2nd level technical expert on specific platforms. Leverage DevOps, Waterfall, and Agile practices to deliver resilient and secure solutions. Participate in a 1-week on-call rotation approximately every two months.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and build stable, recoverable, and integrated database systems.
- Support IRIS databases on Linux, both on-premise and in the cloud.
- Install, support, troubleshoot, and upgrade Epic systems like Health Connect, Claims Connect, and Membership Connect.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and act as a 2nd level technical expert on specific platforms.
- Leverage DevOps, Waterfall, and Agile practices to deliver resilient and secure solutions.
- Participate in a 1-week on-call rotation approximately every two months.
Requirements
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in an IT operations environment with distributed technologies, systems development, and/or networking.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in the planning, design, and implementation of security solutions.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in the configuration, implementation, troubleshooting, and operation of security technologies.
- Minimum one (1) year in a technical leadership role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field; additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
- Ability to work Pacific time zone hours (11am - 8pm ET).
Skills
- Experience with distributed technologies, systems development, and/or networking.
- Experience with security solutions planning, design, and implementation.
- Experience with security technologies configuration, implementation, troubleshooting, and operation.
- Experience in technical leadership roles.
