IT Infrastructure Consultant - Virtual Desktop and Application Delivery
WEC Business Services LLC, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an IT Infrastructure Consultant specializing in Virtual Desktop and Application Delivery. This hybrid role is available in Green Bay, Wisconsin and Pewaukee, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for the virtual desktop and application hosting environment, including a shared 24x7 on-call rotation.
- Responsible for project work, product upgrades, and development and maintenance of virtual desktop and application standards and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance and other issues as they occur.
- Collaborate with business partners in solution design.
- Proactively monitor the virtual desktop and application hosting environment.
- Provide assistance to application support teams’ initiatives, including design, build, and maintenance, connectivity and performance troubleshooting, and disaster recovery planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- This position requires unescorted access to certain critical cyber assets, which includes satisfying all Company and NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection Standard 004 security requirements, including a background investigation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of Citrix administration experience.
- Understanding of computing network components (e.g., DNS, ADFS).
- Understanding of infrastructure interaction protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, LDAP).
- Server virtualization experience.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to effectively communicate in a team environment.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $68,436.68 to $135,761.08. Starting salary will be based on relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.
