IT Helpdesk Technician

Florence-Darlington Technical College IT support role on campus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot all IT assets on FDTC campus.
• Provide help and support for IT services to FDTC employees and students with audio-visual and IT issues in person or via telephone.
• Repair PC hardware and install network software on all models of computer assets.
• Support both employees and students with technology problems.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Network Systems Management or other closely related field (or relevant work experience in IT support).
• A+ Certification is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Able to stand for long periods, climb ladders, crawl under desks, and lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Current US driver’s license.

Schedule

37.5 hours per week. Monday–Thursday, 8:00 am–5:30 pm; Friday, 8:00 am–11:30 am.
