About the role
As an IT Helpdesk Specialist, you will provide technical support to internal users, resolve computer hardware and software issues, and assist in maintaining network infrastructure.Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective assistance to users via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Diagnose and resolve a variety of computer hardware and software problems.
- Perform routine maintenance on computers and peripherals.
- Document and track incidents and resolutions using the helpdesk ticketing system.
- Collaborate with other IT departments to ensure seamless integration of systems and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems, common software applications, and basic networking concepts.
Qualifications
