Responsibilities
- Provides support and service to our employees by responding to inbound phone calls, email, or help desk requests for technical assistance
- Effectively troubleshoots and repairs PC and peripheral hardware and software issues with minor assistance
- Accurately diagnose problems with hardware and software on products offered through the dealership and provide solutions, if applicable
- Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion
- Complete all documents required in conjunction with work assignments
- Escalates priority issues and provides communication to the department and management regarding critical system issues
- Manages and creates user accounts, including new user setup, resetting of passwords and managing locked accounts.
- Perform preventative maintenance on company devices. (Workstations, Printers, scanners, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Minimum of a High school Diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in computer technology preferred. Experience can substitute for education
- Strong knowledge of PCs and related software to effectively assist users with issues
- Ability to problem solve by using all available resources
