About the role

We are seeking an IT Functional Analyst, Supply Chain to support and enhance our logistics and supply chain software platforms. This role serves as the key liaison between business users and technology teams, focusing on Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), and related supply chain applications. The ideal candidate combines strong functional knowledge of supply chain processes with analytical and communication skills to drive continuous improvement and system enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary functional analyst for logistics and supply chain applications.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify operational challenges and recommend technology solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal IT teams, implementation partners, and software vendors to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.
  • Analyze and document current and future-state business processes.
  • Gather, document, and manage business and functional requirements.
  • Create user documentation, training materials, and operational procedures.
  • Participate and coordinate system configuration, testing, implementation, and post-production support activities.
  • Support integration activities between IBM iSeries ERP, TMS, WMS, WCS, automation platforms, and other peripheral systems.
  • Develop and execute test plans, validation scenarios, and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Support, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within logistics, supply chain, and related applications.
  • Participate in project planning, requirements workshops, solution design reviews, and deployment activities.
  • Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
  • Follow established IT governance, change management, and support processes.
  • Foster the MSC culture throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose.
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience developing and supporting enterprise supply chain applications.
  • Experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, warehouse operations, or supply chain management preferred.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders, software vendors, and technical teams.
  • Knowledge of Office productivity suite or similar tools.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel up to 25% of the time may be required.
  • This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information (“ITAR”) and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (“CUI”).

Qualifications

  • Understanding of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Lean, Six-Sigma knowledge.
  • IBM iSeries relevant knowledge.
  • Understanding of transportation, logistics, and distribution business processes.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Keen understanding of applications and technology, with functional process knowledge in supply chain preferred.
  • Experience with collaboration, project life cycle, and services management tools such as MS SharePoint and HPLAM, ServiceNow (preferred).

Pay

Compensation starting at $55,700 - $81,245 depending on candidate location and experience. The salary range is based on similar roles in comparable industries and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements, and peer pay equity.
