IT Financial Systems Analyst

About the role
The Financial Systems Analyst has broad responsibility for the implementation and day-to-day functional administration across both the OneStream and SAP suite of finance applications. This role works with Business Intelligence tools to provide financial information to assist management in decision making.
Responsibilities
- Act as the System Administrator for OneStream CPM.
- Act as the System Administrator for SAP Finance.
- Work with SAP Business Intelligence programs, such as AFO, to develop schedules and charts highlighting financial performance trends.
- Write and maintain Visual Basic code for Excel and OneStream to improve efficiencies for various financial functions.
- Support development of OneStream application to incorporate new enhancements such as predictive budgeting using AI.
- Update interfaces between SAP, OneStream, and other systems.
- Develop analytical models to test and support process improvement and key business initiatives.
- Analyze trends utilizing statistical and accounting tools and/or utilizing Excel and Access.
- Work with Operational Accounting Management in developing and maintaining key metric reporting and ad-hoc reporting requirements.
- Develop and automate the generation of various reports for weekly and/or monthly distribution.
- Support users with various financial applications.
- Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.
- Foster the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of job-related experience.
- Proficiency in Excel and Access.
- Knowledge of Visual Basic applications preferred.
- Fundamental knowledge of Financial & Operational Accounting processes.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of SAP preferred.
- Knowledge of OneStream CPM preferred.
- Knowledge of business intelligence reporting (e.g., Oracle, SAP, AFO, Crystal) preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel up to 5% of the time.

Pay
Compensation starting at $71,900 - $112,970 depending on candidate location and experience. The salary range is based on similar roles in comparable industries and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is determined by the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements, and peer pay equity.
