IT Financial Manager

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations within the MTA, ensuring efficient management of resources and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
• Manage and analyze telecom expense management, budgeting, and forecasting
• Perform in-depth invoice analysis and audits
• Develop and maintain financial reports and forecasts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and resolve complex resource allocation problems
• Provide expert-level support in SQL and other financial systems

Requirements

• Master's degree in finance, Accounting or Economics preferred
• 10+ years of experience in Telecom Services & Expense Management
• Experience with project-based financial management, telecom expense management, budgeting/forecasting and/or auditing
• In-depth invoice analysis and audit ability
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Prior forecasting and reporting experience
• Strong financial background
• Excellent communication, analytical, and data organization/interpretation skills
• Proven ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Superior skills with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Outstanding organizational and quantitative skills
• Ability to perform high-volume work accurately and independently
