About the role
We are looking for an IT Field Services Tech to provide on-site technical support for a wide range of end-user and network-connected technologies in Bellaire, Texas. This Long-term Contract position plays a key role in keeping workplace systems reliable, secure, and fully functional while supporting both daily operations and user productivity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on support for desktops, software applications, mobile devices, telecom tools, patient entertainment systems, and other connected equipment across assigned locations.
- Diagnose technical problems, complete repairs, and restore service quickly to minimize disruption for end users and operational teams.
- Install, configure, test, and maintain hardware and software solutions used in clinical, security, engineering, and biomedical settings.
- Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional stakeholders to address incidents, schedule service activities, and support equipment deployments.
- Monitor ticket queues and respond within established service expectations while providing clear updates to users throughout the support process.
- Apply cybersecurity and data privacy practices when handling devices, files, user access, and system-related information.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, asset details, troubleshooting steps, and resolution outcomes.
- Support network-enabled technologies by identifying connectivity issues and working with appropriate teams to resolve performance concerns.
Requirements
- Experience providing field or desktop support for a diverse range of end-user devices and enterprise technology environments.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles, data privacy practices, and database security concepts in day-to-day IT support.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, telecom, and network-connected equipment in a fast-paced operational setting.
- Familiarity with security governance standards and following established IT policies and service procedures.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Proven ability to manage multiple support requests, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet service level targets.
- Comfortable maintaining accurate records related to incidents, equipment, system changes, and computer files.
