IT Enterprise Architect
General Description
We are seeking an IT Enterprise Architect to join our team. The IT Enterprise Architect defines and governs enterprise architecture to directly enable the firm’s strategic priorities, business capabilities, and value streams. This role leverages broad IT knowledge of IT networks, cloud computing, software development, and automation tools to translate business objectives—such as client service excellence, operational efficiency, risk management, and growth—into actionable architecture decisions, roadmaps, and standards.
Key Responsibilities And Essential Job Functions
- Contributes to architecture standard definition and design, including documenting and diagramming the logical, physical, and process views across multiple technology domains.
- Led architectural evaluation and decision-making for enterprise initiatives, ensuring solution choices align with approved standards, target-state architecture, and business outcomes.
- Serves as a trusted advisor to project teams to assist in the delivery of approved solutions.
- Participates in and continuously develops architectural knowledge, architecture artifacts the architecture framework.
- Pairs with business and practice leaders to translate strategic objectives into architectural priorities and guardrails.
- Special projects and duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- 3+ years of experience architecting and delivering enterprise solutions across multiple enterprise architecture domains (technology, application, information, and infrastructure).
- 3+ years of experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, HTML, CSS, JSON/REST APIs, SQL, NoSQL, and Shell.
- 2+ years of experience in cloud computing architecture, technical design, and implementations, including (IaaS), (PaaS), and (SaaS) delivery models across multiple different cloud vendors (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Relevant industry certifications (AWS, CISSP, Professional Cloud Solutions Architect, Open CA, ITIL).
- Strong understanding of enterprise security technologies, including proxies, antispam, authentication repositories, intrusion detection and prevention solutions, logging and monitoring, network access control, encryption, identity management, authentication, and privileged access management solutions.
- Understanding security-related regulatory requirements, such as NIST, PCI, ISO 27001, HIPAA compliance, and familiarity with security tools integrated with DevOps (e.g., Fortify, WhiteSource, and Qualys).
- Aptitude to quickly understand the functions and capabilities of existing, new, and emerging technologies to update the firm’s architecture models.

- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Moderate or advanced keyboard usage.
