IT Enterprise Architect

About the role

The City of Little Rock seeks an experienced IT Enterprise Architect to lead the development and implementation of a city-wide enterprise architecture strategy. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or a related field, combined with at least seven (7) years of enterprise architecture experience and/or an Information Technology strategy role.

Responsibilities

• Align technology initiatives with organizational goals
• Ensure business objectives and technology solutions are strategically integrated
• Provide architectural leadership and governance for major initiatives
• Collaborate with IT team members and City leadership to establish standards and guide long-term technology planning
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned within a cohesive, future-ready framework
• Work closely with IT team members and City leadership to establish standards and guide long-term technology planning

Requirements

• Valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver’s License
• Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) security and privacy certification
• Able and willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergency calls as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of enterprise architecture experience and/or equivalent experience in an Information Technology strategy role
• Demonstrated work experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, M365 ecosystem)

Salary range based on experience and qualifications.
