Responsibilities

• Solve problems for real people. Cater your assistance to the individual in front of you, regardless of their role within the organization.
• Troubleshoot Mac and Windows systems. Dive deep into issues that don't resolve with simple fixes, such as configuration profiles, domain join failures, encryption issues, and network connectivity problems.
• Deploy and configure hardware and software. Install, upgrade, and configure devices and applications using MDM solutions, ensuring that users have the tools they need.
• Keep networks humming and conference rooms running. Maintain and upgrade networks, servers, and AV equipment, ensuring smooth operation.
• Document everything. Stay current with the tools your clients use and document your troubleshooting steps and configurations clearly and thoroughly.
• Show up in person. Provide on-site support at client offices, troubleshooting as needed, and collaborate with other teams as required.
• Be security-conscious. Always consider security implications for every request and follow best practices to protect against threats like phishing and malware.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience troubleshooting or supporting complex products and technology, or equivalent education.
• A passion for service and a desire to help people solve their problems.
• Genuine comfort with both macOS and Windows operating systems and the ability to explain how you would troubleshoot issues in either environment.
• An interest in solving problems and a knack for troubleshooting unexpected behavior.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to translate technical issues into understandable explanations for non-technical clients.
• A collaborative spirit and a willingness to leave detailed documentation of your work.
• The ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
• An understanding of the importance of security and a commitment to protecting sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Passionate about technology and its impact on people.
• Experience with collaboration and productivity suites (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace Admin, Slack Admin).
• Experience with identity and access management (Okta, JumpCloud, Rippling, 1Password, Lastpass, Bitwarden).
• Experience with device management (MDM) solutions (Addigy, NinjaOne, Hexnode, Jamf, Kandji).
• Experience with security and compliance (CrowdStrike Falcon, Drata, Vanta).
• Experience with networking and conferencing hardware (Ubiquiti UniFi, Cisco Meraki, Logitech).
• Experience with cloud, development, and business platforms (AWS, GCP, GitHub, Salesforce, HubSpot).
