It addresses challenges in the traditional life insurance market by providing an online platform that simplifies purchasing, underwriting, and agent engagement, removing barriers like medical exams and extensive health questions. About the Opportunity:The IT ENGINEER is responsible for leading the design and development of a cloud-first IT environment that is scalable, secure, and efficient. This role is critical in supporting the organization's technology infrastructure, enhancing security, automating processes, and collaborating with various teams to ensure operational excellence and strategic IT implementation. Responsibilities:Design and manage a cloud-based IT environment ensuring availability, scalability, and security across SaaS platformsImplement security measures and improve access controls and risk mitigationAutomate IT workflows to increase operational efficiencyProvide technical leadership and mentorship within the IT teamLead IT projects from planning to executionCollaborate with stakeholders to deliver effective IT solutionsAssess and integrate new IT tools and technologiesDevelop AI-powered automation agents for IT processesMaintain documentation and IT standardsManage email and collaboration platforms focusing on security and deliverabilityServe as escalation point for complex IT issues and perform root cause analysisAllocate up to 20% of time to escalated support tickets and new hire onboarding Requirements:Minimum 5 years experience in IT Engineering or related roles in cloud-first environmentsExperience managing large-scale SaaS IT infrastructureStrong security-first approach with practical application experienceProficiency with macOS and Windows endpoint managementExpertise in Google Workspace administration and email security managementFamiliarity with email security tools such as ProofpointExperience with Slack, Okta, Jamf, Intune, and endpoint management platformsKnowledge of Zero Trust Network Access or modern network securityAbility to automate workflows using scripting or automation toolsStrong problem-solving and root cause analysis skillsExperience mentoring and leading technical teamsEffective communication skills for diverse stakeholdersKnowledge of IT asset lifecycle managementFamiliarity with AI orchestration platforms is a plus Pay Range and Compensation Package:The US national base salary range for this full-time role is $91,000 to $161,000 Benefits & Perks:Medical insuranceDental insurance401(k) retirement planPaid maternity leavePaid paternity leave Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
