IT/Data Analytics internships

About the Internship

Tetra Pak is offering two IT/Data Analytics internships based in Denton, TX. The program provides hands-on experience, professional development, and mentorship in a global corporate environment. Interns will work on real projects, receive guidance from a mentor, and participate in an onboarding program.

Product Development Intern (95162)

Duration: May 31, 2027 - April 28, 2028 (Full-time until mid-August, then part-time max. 20 hours/week)

Suggested majors: Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Computer Information Systems or similar.

What You Will Do

• Gain a solid understanding of IT infrastructure and how it supports our end-users and teams
• Working Agile leveraging Scrum
• Create solutions within a specific product development team
• Develop capabilities within ServiceNow IT Operations Management, Enterprise Monitoring Tools, and DevOps platforms
• Develop automation capabilities with coding languages such as Python, PowerShell, Ansible
• Develop data driven reports
• Work with stakeholders and end-users
• Present solutions to team, stakeholders, and management
• Develop capabilities within on-premises Data Center infrastructure, Kubernetes, and VMware

Desirable Skills / Knowledge

• Automation or coding languages (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, etc.)
• APIs
• Microsoft Office
• Microsoft Power BI or other reporting tools

Data Analytics Automation Intern (95182)

Duration: May 31, 2027 - November 19, 2027 (Full-time until mid-August, then part-time max. 20 hours/week)

Suggested majors: Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Business

What You Will Do

• Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs related to warehouse and planning performance
• Assist in root cause analysis for performance deviations and propose corrective actions
• Support inventory accuracy initiatives and cycle count analysis
• Contribute to time studies and productivity assessments
• Document standard operating procedures and improvement actions

Desirable Skills / Knowledge

• Power BI and automation tools
• Excel proficiency: comfortable with formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization

Qualifications

• Bachelor studies in any of the majors mentioned for each opportunity
• Coursing your two (2) last years of university/college
• Interest in taking your career to the next level
• Availability to work full time during summer

Pay & Schedule

• Salary: $22-$25 per hour
• Product Development Intern: May 31, 2027 - April 28, 2028 (Full-time until mid-August, then part-time max. 20 hours/week)
• Data Analytics Automation Intern: May 31, 2027 - November 19, 2027 (Full-time until mid-August, then part-time max. 20 hours/week)

Work Environment

• For internships within a factory environment, you will be walking around a production facility frequently
• Required to wear steel toe safety shoes, company provided uniform, proper protective equipment (hair net, ear plugs, safety glasses), and remove any jewelry
• All safety gear is provided by Tetra Pak, including a shoe voucher for the intern to purchase safety shoes
