About the role
This role serves as the primary IT support resource for the organization, owning day-to-day end-user technology needs across a diverse software and hardware environment while supporting ongoing infrastructure and systems projects.
Responsibilities
- Provision, configure, deploy, and manage company hardware including laptops, desktops, phones, RF scanners, and key fobs for all users.
- Complete new-hire IT onboarding by configuring equipment, creating user accounts, assigning licenses, and training employees on company software and systems.
- Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, servers, and networks while troubleshooting connectivity, hardware, and access issues across all end users.
- Disable accounts, revoke software access, and remove system permissions for departing employees.
- Provide daily in-person and remote end-user support, resolving issues ranging from quick fixes to complex, research-required problems.
- Research new software and technology solutions, build vendor relationships, and proactively bring improvement ideas to the team.
- Maintain SharePoint storage, manage copier and plotter supplies, and support ongoing IT projects including wi-fi coverage, phone system upgrades, and Intune policy migration.
Requirements
- 3 years of hands-on IT support or help desk experience in a professional environment.
- Demonstrated experience administering Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, including user account management and permissions.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot networks, firewalls, hardware, and end-user devices independently and under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience supporting non-technical users and engaging professionally with senior or executive-level stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous issues while remaining organized, calm, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and device policy management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite or similar platforms, or demonstrated ability to quickly learn new business systems.
- Experience with Power Apps or Power Automate.
- Background working as a solo IT resource or in a small IT team with broad ownership over the technology environment.
Pay
$70,000 - $75,000
