About the role
The IT Coordinator supports the internal IT team by performing departmental administrative and coordination tasks related to new hires, exits, asset & inventory administration, account administration, and more. This position provides internal customer service to end-users and develops partnerships with internal business partners. The role includes core responsibilities and additional administrative tasks based on the IT team's changing demands.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates all IT-related onboarding and exit procedures for new and departing employees
- Delivers IT new hire orientation; answers frequently asked questions about equipment, setup, MS Office 365, licenses, and IT training
- Maintains hardware asset inventory list; communicates with accounting partners to reconcile/update fixed assets
- Responsible for software/license administration and maintenance
- Performs inventory management system responsibilities, including running Lansweeper reports, identifying software installed, users needing updates, and manually entering updates
- Collaborates with IT team members to resolve companywide IT issues
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of privileged information, files, and accounts
- Maintains digital systems records and compiles reports from databases as needed
- Administers and maintains cellular phone accounts as directed
- Provides excellent general customer service to internal users; communicates computing policies, cybersecurity policies, and answers frequently asked questions
- Performs regular data entry, daily workflows, and other routine administrative/departmental support tasks
- Practices and promotes ethical computing
- Promotes and supports an inclusive work environment
Qualifications
- 1-3+ years of relevant administrative/coordination and customer service experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills reflecting tact, professionalism, confidentiality, and diplomacy
- Well-organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with general computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office 365 and team collaboration software (Teams, GoToMeeting, Zoom, etc.) preferred
- Experience with mobile device (iOS, Android) support preferred
- Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge to new challenges
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with diverse people and personalities
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to travel when requested

Pay
The offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
