About the Role
Support the ongoing development, enhancement, and rollout of the firm’s IT control framework within the Derivative Products Group.
- Gather data from multiple internal sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across reporting.
- Build and maintain IT control reports, dashboards, KPIs, and metrics using Excel and Power BI.
- Analyze trends and operational control performance to help identify improvement areas and enhance IT control maturity.
- Automate recurring reporting workflows and document processes to ensure repeatability and audit readiness.
Responsibilities
- Perform control testing, risk assessments, evidence gathering, and remediation validation.
- Develop, improve, and implement IT control frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
- Gather, normalize, and validate data from multiple systems using strong analytical skills.
- Create advanced reports and dashboards (Power BI strongly preferred).
- Partner with technology, risk, operations, and compliance stakeholders using strong communication skills.
- Maintain high standards of precision and documentation quality when handling confidential information.
Requirements
- Ability to work on W2 without sponsorship.
- 3-5+ years of experience in IT compliance, IT controls, technology risk, or internal audit within a financial-services or highly regulated environment.
- Hands-on experience with IT compliance automation, workflow tools, or visualization platforms.
- Familiarity with SOX technology controls, operational risk, or technology governance.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality concepts, and control evidence lifecycle.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with Power BI (strongly preferred).
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
