IT College Co-Op
Dauch is looking for two IT College Co-ops to join our team in Minerva, OH, with one opening on 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM) and one opening on 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
About the role
The IT Co-Op will provide hands-on technical support for plant operations, enterprise infrastructure, and manufacturing technology systems. This position will work closely with the IT department, engineering teams, production personnel, and plant leadership to support daily operations while gaining practical experience in a modern manufacturing IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of duties and tasks including secure set up, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various network and communication systems
- Research and document technical systems to maintain documentation library/knowledge base to ensure proper monitoring and security
- Apply standard application engineering and security techniques, practices, procedures, and criteria in all but the most complex situations
- Assist in identifying and building alerts for evolving network threats
- Solve fairly complex user inquiries that may arise during day-to-day operations
- Work under minor direction and supervision
- Work independently and as a member of a multi-functional team
- Communicate effectively with broader security and IT teams, end users, and other staff who may have no technical background
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field full-time (graduation date of December 2027 or later)
- Available to work 25-40 hours each week, year-round
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above
- Familiarity with basic networking principles and protocols including TCP/IP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

- 2nd shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- 3rd shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
