About the role

This role represents the IT department to the business for a portfolio of IT applications used throughout the organization. Responsibilities include:

  • Representing IT department to business stakeholders
  • Creating/updating product management deliverables
  • Managing 2nd level application support
  • Application training and product administration
  • Partnering with vendors and supporting their customer success, support, and product management teams
  • Project-related tasks and deliverables impacting supported products

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Communicating with all areas of the company and establishing strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and IT shared services
  • Defining application objectives and understanding product positioning, key benefits, and target use cases
  • Working with the business and IT to ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives
  • Managing vendor relationships and contributing enhancement requests to their roadmap
  • Staying informed on vendors' market position, product roadmap, competitors, and potential partner relationships
  • Serving as 1st and 2nd level support for applications, resolving issues, and collaborating with support teams
  • Developing and maintaining key deliverables associated with all products
  • Building process documentation and support guides for applications
  • Creating and providing training material to end users
  • Understanding the technology stack and managing the level of effort for support and enhancements
  • Evaluating tradeoffs between features and maintaining a balance to avoid high maintenance burdens
  • Defining high-quality and comprehensive product requirements
  • Providing feedback to technical staff and project management teams to align development priorities with business and IT needs
  • Managing customer expectations and ensuring shared goals and timelines
  • Assessing the business value of customer requests and prioritizing work accordingly
  • Serving as a key IT liaison and champion for modernization efforts

Requirements

  • 10+ years of previous relationship management and software development experience in an enterprise and/or technical industry
  • 5+ years of previous project management experience in an enterprise and/or technical industry
  • Extensive analytical, written, and organizational skills with strong detail-oriented abilities
  • Advanced experience with enterprise tools and business suites, including hands-on experience working within the tool, configuring modules, and teaching others how to use the tool efficiently
  • Experience managing all stages of the product life cycle
  • Knowledge of IT Software Development Life Cycle: Initiation, Planning, Design, Development, Implementation, Maintenance, Retire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as Project Management (PMP) or Certified Business Relationship Manager® (CBRM®)
  • BS/BA degree preferred

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • Minimum 6-month ongoing contingent role, business needs based position
  • Full-time, typically 40 hours per week, onsite in NYC. Additional hours may be required based on operational needs.

Salary / Pay Range

$3,000 - $3,800 USD

  • All compensation, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment are handled by the agency.
  • The assignment to provide services to the NFL will be limited in duration but may be extended for an additional period by agreement between the NFL and the agency.
  • No relocation assistance will be provided.
