Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Technology leadership to support financial planning, workforce management, reporting, and governance across the Technology organization.
- Maintain rolling financial forecasts by integrating workforce changes, project timelines, vendor activities, and contract milestones.
- Analyze budgets, financial performance, and variances, providing actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Ensure the accuracy of budgets, cost centers, funding information, and financial reporting.
- Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for Technology leadership.
- Cook up leadership meetings, governance activities, agendas, and follow-up action items.
- Maintain workforce reporting, including headcount, organizational changes, onboarding, offboarding, and staffing updates.
- Cook with HR and cross-functional stakeholders on workforce planning and operational initiatives.
- Track vendor contracts, contractor data, renewals, and associated financial impacts.
- Support technology portfolio planning by monitoring project timelines, dependencies, budgets, and resource allocations.
Requirements
- Experience working in a large enterprise or complex matrix organization.
- Strong experience managing operational budgets and financial planning.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and technology organizations.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues, take initiative, and drive improvements independently.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with senior leadership.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–7 years of experience in Technology Business Management, IT Finance, Operations, or a related field.
- Experience supporting senior Technology leadership.
- Experience managing operational budgets and financial forecasting.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of technology organizations and IT operations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
