Citi is seeking an IT Business Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Provide input during development and implementation phases, including the formulation and definition of systems scope, objectives, and necessary system enhancements for complex, high-impact projects.
- Identify and communicate risks and impacts, and propose risk mitigation options, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
- Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and partner with multiple management teams and other units to meet organizational objectives.
- Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements, and recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems by analyzing business processes, systems, and industry standards.
- Provide in-depth and sophisticated analyses with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions, and influence strategic functional decisions.
- Supervise day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management, work allocation, mentoring/coaching, and other duties and functions as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Principal Consultant, IT Consultant, Data Lead, Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or related position gathering new requirements and performing root cause analysis of data issues.
- 6 years of experience must include:
- Performing review/analysis of data to understand its purpose, definition, flow, and interdependencies when gathering new requirements or performing root cause analysis of data issues.
- Creating, modifying, and executing queries for both data profiling and analysis of new requirements and data issues using SQL (Structured Query Language), Oracle, SQL Server, Big Data.
- Providing input and feedback into solutions for both new data requirements and resolution of data issues by enabling data-driven decision-making for tactical and strategic solutions.
- Providing input and support for the efforts to implement Data Governance policies around controls and quality measurement.
- Using Business Intelligence and ETL (Extract Transform Load) concepts to map data to capture current state and future data requirements, data lineage, and transformations.
Pay
Wage range: $141,773 to $175,000. In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
