About the role
The IT & Automation Project Manager I will lead project activities associated with small to medium-sized projects within the Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEx) department. FFEx is responsible for all major expansion activities within aseptic production, solid dosage forms, finished products, fill & finish warehousing, and QC across Novo Nordisk’s production areas. The position involves providing project management services for new IT & automation projects and processes, including computer systems, facility, utility, equipment, and processes associated with the production of insulin products.
Responsibilities
- Create master plans for projects outlining all required activities.
- Develop timelines and resource estimates to complete projects.
- Refine and clarify project scope through early project analysis with subject matter experts and owners.
- Monitor and control project work with stringent follow-up on quality, schedule, and budget.
- Ensure systems and processes are validated in compliance with FDA, EU, and NN requirements.
- Manage cross-functional teams to ensure all support systems (procedures, calibration, maintenance work orders, etc.) are in place for projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of project management, project support, or change management experience from GxP Production (Pharmaceutical or Nuclear or Military), with emphasis on IT and/or Manufacturing Automation.
Qualifications
- Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills.
- Expert knowledge in being a project team leader with excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Basic computer skills including experience in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Demonstrated expertise in planning, organizing, managing execution, checking results, and revising the work plan for complex problems.
