IT Asset Management Engineer

4-day onsite (Glendale/Burbank, Orlando, New York or Seattle) and 1-day remote W2 contract role for 7+ months. No C2C, 1099, third-party, or sponsorship available.

About the Role

This role operates within the ServiceNow ecosystem, focusing on the Software Asset Management (SAM) Enterprise Initiative. You will support the implementation and expansion of ServiceNow Software Asset Management Enterprise, help stand up and mature the platform, and drive ongoing project-related work.

Responsibilities

• Perform data quality analysis and remediation, recommending improvements to platform configuration and processes.
• Support the expansion of Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
• Manage discovery tools and support integrations within the ServiceNow environment.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and collaborate with business segments as the asset management program expands.
• Help bring additional device inventories and environments into the system.
• Communicate with various stakeholders as part of implementation efforts.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of ServiceNow experience, specifically with CMDB (Configuration Management Database) and IT Operations Management.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery tools and capabilities.
• Expertise in building and managing a CMDB.
• Asset Management experience in at least one of: Software Asset Management (SAM) or Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
• Foundational knowledge of how integrations function within ServiceNow, including maintenance and management.
• ServiceNow certification is required (Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred).

Pay

Estimated pay range: $80.00/hr - $88.00/hr. Exact compensation depends on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
