IT Applications Engineer V

About the Role

This senior technical position involves translating business requirements into robust software solutions, guiding the development of integrated enterprise applications, and serving as a technical expert for project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee business-specific projects, ensuring adherence to procedures, developing work plans, and coordinating resources to meet organizational goals.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, communicate effectively, influence team members, and mentor junior staff.
• Design, develop, and deliver resilient, secure, multi-channel solutions using DEVOPS, Waterfall, and Agile methodologies.
• Translate functional specifications into technical designs, code modules, and stable systems, collaborating with analysts and architects.
• Provide technical guidance, support incident responses, validate specifications, and participate in testing phases including CIT and UAT.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts, develop complex test scenarios, ensure solutions meet standards, and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor and train technical resources, ensuring code quality and adherence to architectural standards.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of experience with SDLC-based solution implementation.
• At least two years in a technical leadership role, with or without direct reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field, or equivalent work experience with a minimum of eight years in software development.
