IT Applications Engineer V

About the Role

This senior-level position involves translating business requirements into robust software solutions, providing technical expertise, and guiding project teams through the development of integrated enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee business projects by applying subject matter expertise, developing work plans, and ensuring adherence to procedures and policies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, communicate effectively, influence team members, and mentor junior staff to promote continuous learning and improvement.
• Design, develop, and deliver resilient, secure, multi-channel solutions using DEVOPS, Waterfall, and Agile methodologies.
• Translate functional specifications into scalable program designs, code modules, and stable systems, partnering with Business Analysts and architects.
• Serve as a technical expert, providing guidance on innovative solutions, incident response, and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Support testing phases, including component and user acceptance testing, by developing scenarios, performing fixes, and validating solutions.
• Develop, configure, or modify application solutions across various environments, ensuring compliance with architectural standards and best practices.
• Lead and mentor technical team members, build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of experience in solution implementation and SDLC methodologies.
• At least two years of technical leadership experience, with or without direct reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
