About the role
As an Application Engineer with Applied Fluid Power, you'll interact with the technical sales team and customers to provide solutions to their fluid power and electrification needs. You will directly impact customer satisfaction, retention, and sales results.
Responsibilities
- Interact with the technical sales team and customers to provide solutions to their fluid power and electrification needs.
- Specify customer needs, quote, present, design, and oversee the building of solutions.
- Contribute to the electrification agenda.
- Create hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics and layout drawings.
- Provide ongoing and extensive training to stay updated on product knowledge and industry standards.
- Participate in personalized consulting and training provided by the management team to enhance and strengthen the team offering.
Requirements
- 3 years or more in technical fluid power.
- Strong leadership and customer relations skills.
- Motivated in both team and individual settings.
- A desire to enhance overall skills.
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or Manufacturing Engineering Technology.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
- Ability to create hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics and layout drawings.
- Contributions to the electrification agenda.
