About the role

This is a hands-on technical role supporting the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing development of restaurant Point-of-Sale systems and the broader technology stack. You’ll manage POS database programming, translate operational requirements into functional configurations, and play an active role in deploying new restaurant technologies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain POS systems, including menu updates, pricing changes, limited-time offers (LTOs), discounts, promotions, and off-premise ordering platforms using Aloha CFC.
  • Develop, test, and deploy POS configuration changes and software updates across restaurant locations, proactively monitoring implementations and resolving deployment issues.
  • Support the implementation, testing, and rollout of new restaurant technologies, including online ordering, catering solutions, Kitchen Display Systems (KDS), curbside pickup, and mobile applications.
  • Deliver advanced remote technical support to restaurant teams, ensuring timely issue resolution and a high level of customer service.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation, configuration records, and change management logs.
  • Provide cross-functional IT support, including basic networking, connectivity troubleshooting, and end-user assistance as needed.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and third-party technology vendors to enhance restaurant operations and improve the guest experience.
  • Travel periodically to support new restaurant openings, including equipment staging, installation, system configuration, and testing.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide after-hours and weekend technical support when required.
